Dr Ajit Bhalla serves as the State Clinical Lead for Urgent Care in Queensland, Deputy Clinical Director, and Adjunct Professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast. He provides strategic and clinical leadership across a growing network of urgent care and general practice services, while also contributing to medical education and workforce development.

Dr Bhalla also serves on the Medicare Urgent Care Clinical Community of Practice for Primary Care with the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care, and is a member of the After Hours and Urgent Care Advisory Committee with the Brisbane South Primary Health Network, contributing to policy development and system-level improvements in urgent and after-hours care.

He is an experienced General Practitioner and Clinical Director with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across both metropolitan and regional communities. With extensive experience in general practice and urgent care settings, Dr Bhalla is committed to ensuring safe, accessible, and efficient healthcare for diverse patient populations.
